Walking Tour 4-8-10
Everyone seemed to enjoy the visit to the green, The First Church of Winsted, and the Winsted Old Burying Ground. Of particular interest were the war monuments in the green, the beautiful windows in the church, and the older graves and names in the cemetery. Most of the students were impressed with the history of Winsted. The weather was beautiful for the walk and it was fun to have the GED class join us.

Many thanks to Susan and Lynn for their tour. I'm looking forward to seeing the Tiffany windows in the church from inside.

Sounds like you all had a great walking tour. We are going this evening with the ESL class. I learned today that the Congregational Church used to be next to what is now Park Place Hardware.
